About me
Tracy Bunting has been a dedicated educator for over 31 years with a heart for under-served and under-resourced populations. She has been a Pike Township Instructional Specialist since 2011 but has been an educator for over 30 years. She began her career in Fort Wayne Community Schools as an elementary and middle school teacher, literacy instructional coach at both elementary & middle school levels, a district Title I Specialist and Manager. She currently serves Pike’s English Learners Program instructional and program specialist. Furthermore, she is certified to teach science, social studies, reading, English/Language arts and is currently a certified local LETRS trainer. Ms. Bunting serves on the Indiana Department of Education Federal Programs Advisory Board. She has presented at local, state, and national conferences on topics such hands-on science instruction, reading and writing instruction, vocabulary and academic language development, increasing parent engagement, sheltering instruction for English learners, grants management, Title I processes and compliance. She is truly a life-long learner with interests in growing her knowledge and efficacy for literacy instruction, using AI as a tool for differentiation, English language development, and learner-centered instruction. Ms. Bunting is a passionate advocate for providing an equitable, public education for all students.
