About me
As the Instructional Coach at the Pike Career Center, I have the incredible opportunity to share my teaching and technology experience with the CTE teachers. My professional journey started in the business world but quickly transitioned to education and has included writing curriculum and textbooks, corporate training, teaching at various universities, and teaching at two different high schools. Throughout my career as an educator, I've taught a wide range of subjects, including Preparing for College and Careers, Digital Apps, Personal Finance, Accounting, Robotics, and various Informatics coding classes.
As a self-proclaimed tech nerd, I am passionate about exploring new educational tools, and AI is no exception. I believe that understanding AI and its available tools will not only simplify teachers' lives but also elevate their teaching to new heights. That's why I'm thrilled to introduce these innovations to our educators.
